GLADIOLUS
After much practising and not a little help from the lovely Shaile, here is the spray for my daughter's 50th at the end of August. It was only meant to be a trial run, but I think it came out OK, so I'm going to keep it as this. Not perfect - but I defy anyone at the party to know what a gladiolus actually really looks like! It really helped to do it with flower paste instead of making my own, dried much harder and was easier to work with. Also treated myself to a silk veining tool that Shaile used - awesome bit of kit!

Thank you so much Linda (nice to see you here again........). Decided I didn't like the stem so have bought some narrow gold ribbon and wound it round the stem to hang off the edge of the cake. Daisy and I agree it looks much better!
