Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

This was my first time working with modeling chocolate and I much prefer it for more realistic looking people. The base of the figure is modeling chocolate and then I covered it with fondant. I definitely struggled though...lol. My biggest learning was that I need much thicker gauge wire for the support system! Oh well, I know for next time now.

I am doing one now , I started with the modeling chocolate with this one I am doing than the rest I covered it with fondant and tylose mix, I ll be posting it in a day or so !!

NICE JOB ! you can make them with out wire's ! I do mine on only 1 long skewer ! mold your arm's hands let them dry than attach to your figure ! but she came real nice , cute
