Convention cake

When my friend was going to the ICES convention in '09, she offered to take a display cake for me. the top of the cake states their theme for that year. The clock actually worked. I believe that because of the long distance and time it would have to look good I made a fake cake and put the clockworks inside the top layer and covered with fondant.
