Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

A bit late, but better late than never. This is for my brother and sister-in-law, who we didn't get to see before Christmas like we usually do. Going to visit them next week and will be taking this with us. The carol singers were made weeks ago and have been hiding in a tin waiting for their moment. Cake is fatless chocolate sponge rolled and filled with Morello Cherry conserve and covered in a swirled mix of chocolate butter icing and plain chocolate ganache. Holly, berries, snow and figurines are all fondant.

Ah thank you.  I had modelled the yellow man a little on my brother.  He was telling me that he had bought a cap (what we call a cheese-cutter) to keep his head warm as he is losing his hair.  So I made a little flat cap for him lol!  Not that my brother would ever be seen dead carol singing haha!
