My first time ever making a bow. Was always afraid to attempt one but finally got up the nerve & I'm very pleased & proud of how it came out.

AW THANK YOU Denise ;x , one day hopefully soon I'll get to try it , , moving to a farm house now , so it will be a while b4 I do some caking stuff , I am missing it for the last week ; ((, oh well gotta get my stuff packed so I can set up my new caking studio !
Thanks Katy & Gal. All of your comments/compliments/opinions really mean a lot to me, especially coming from seasoned, talented cake decorators such as yourselves. Gal, there are many techniques I avoided b/c they looked too complicated & I didn't have the confidence in myself that I would be able to pull them off. From what I've seen of your work you seem to be able to do just about anything. I doubt that u would have any problems w/doing a bow :)
I never made any bow's, but I would love to try one !
awesome ! thanks for the info ; )
I am now even more in admiration of the work then Denise. A fiddly job brought off really well.
Thank you Katy & Gal. Katy, I have an extruder that I used to make the edging then attached it to the sides of my strips w/a little vodka before forming them into the loops. I then painted them w/silver pearl dust using a fine brush. Now there may be an easier way to do it that I'm not aware of, at least not yet. :)
pretty
So you should be Denise. It's really pretty and very tidy. I like the silver edging to it - how did you do that? Paint it on?
