Retirement Cake for Pepsi employee Tag 122F
1/2 sheet cake airbrushed buttercream to look like wood. Fishing hat and Pepsi can is carved cake, buttercreamed then covered in fondant. Can was airbrushed. Hat rim is textured with texture mat. Lures made from fondant. List is also fondant. Everthing is made to be actual size. Made for employee of Pepsi who was retiring.

One funny thing that happened is when I was putting his lures back I accidentally grabbed one that I had made thinking it was a real one and broke it.

Thank you..wer're pretty fond of fishing and Pepsi around here too. I dug through my husband's tackle box and found a few lures to look at so I could get the details and sizes right.

My husband would have loved this cake. #1 It looks just like his fishing hat and even the lures he used and #2 He was a HUGE fan of Pepsi!

Wow!! This is really nice. Very creative.

Yes everything is carved cake..used a biscuit cutter to cut out circles of cake for the can and then stacked them to the right height. The lures took several hours because I rolled out each tiny thin little "feather" by hand and the lures go all the way around the hat. There are other views of the cake in my photos.
