Fabulous, June.  I have never seen this technique, first "smooched" level or the cutout fondant.  Love both.  The chrysanthemum is perfect!

Yes Mandy

This was a styro dummy covered in fondant then smooshed with yellow & pale green food colouring. At first, as soon as it was covered, I tried to use my cutters.... fondant was  too soft. I waited about a hour & the fondant was just beginning to harden up. Then the fondant "popped" right off with a little flick of a sharp knife when I removed my cutter. Anxious to try this on real cake underneath.

Excellent June, did you cut out the butterflies after it was on the cake? knowing me I would go straight through to the cake & mess it right up
