Thanks Becky.  Marzipan is almond paste and is traditionally put under fondant or royal icing covering.  Either on a; sponge or fruit cake.

Pretty! I haven't been able to figure out the difference between marzipan, modeling chocolate and fondant. I have always used fondant but want to try the others.
