Hi Patti, thanks for the lookie. I smooth my cakes with a bench scrapper and a lot of patience. Take your time and keep the sides of your scrapper clean. I would like to see your results so let me know. Good luck and happy cakin!

I like you candle cake.  I plan on making one this coming year for a friend. I am very impressed with how clean your sides and edges are...they look perfect.  Do you mind sharing how you made it look so perfect?
