Our whipped cream comes in an 8oz tub, ready to eat, is that the right size?
If so, what size all purpose cream? Is it in liquid form like you put in coffee?
I did warn you that I needed specific directions. lol
I think it is the same, yes just scoop from the tub and beat first. There is also an instruction on the label.
Would Magicwhizk be like CoolWhip, ready to go, just spoon it onto the pie straight from the tub?
Actually I didn't measure the ingredients. The whipped cream is called Magicwhizk (in a tub) or if you don't have it you can use Whippit. I use the whole pack then add a pack of All Purpose Cream and add the 1/8 stick of butter then just spoon some sifted icing sugar to taste. Beat the whipped cream first on high for about 2 mins. then add the All Purpose Cream, then the softened butter and icing sugar.
I have to say, Maria, I'm with the others. I have never tried a buttercream with whipped cream in it and it sounds pretty divine to me. Whipped cream? What's not to like?
yes I am with Bonnie ! recipe please ??
Hi Maria. Guess you don't know me all that well yet, but I am one of the dolts that needs a specific recipe, like how much whipping cream? to how much butter?, softened?, and about how much sugar, please...! I am pretty good at following recipes though! lol
@Bonnie, it's just a mixture of whipped cream, butter and a little icing sugar if you want it sweeter. Just whip the cream, add the butter then the sugar, that's it!!!
Are you going to share this secret recipe with all your pals out here? lol
Thank you all for all your lovely comments!!! I really love the icing, it is not so sweet and very light.
