mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, this is how I do it, I have seen it done with a thick layer of butter cream before the fondant, but this works better for me.

I am going to make my first wedding cake. no experience at all. nervous. so I was browsing for the various steps to do. So this is all it takes when they say thin layer of buttercream. I thought you do crumb coating and frost as usual with thick layer and then cover with fondant.please advice
