This is a multi-layer, 3-tier dark chocolate cake that was carved to soften the lines. It has butternut buttercream & butternut rolled fondant. The flowers were made of gum paste, and the bow & ribbons were made with black rolled fondant. The tails of the bow were encrusted with edible diamonds to match the long sash of the bride's gown. All scroll work & borders were created with royal icing. Everything (except edible diamonds & topper) is homemade.
