Cake Wreck

My first stacked cake. Frosted with buttercream....major bulge on both layers and I did use dowels. Believe I had too much icing trying to get a smooth finish. When the cake was cut, the icing was an inch thick - LOL May have been too soft a cake for stacking - Hummingbird Cake.
