Thank you so much, Gali! (See, there is that wonderful support - means the world!)  I tried to cut the centers freehand, but my knife was too big and not sharp enough, I guess, because I never was even able to cut it out.  I purchased a small, 3 piece cutter set from Sweet Wise and it works like a charm.

There is not much I will not try :oP......but, there is very little that I do really well.  Thank you for your kind words.  Oh, so far I have not been able to make a hibiscus center...you know, the stamen and pistol and whatever....that suits me.  Have not even gotten around to trying the petals because I can't make the center.

I can't wait to put it together, Betty.  I am beginning to get tired of working on it.  If it didn't have so many different components,  I don't think I could stand it.  This way, at least I can go from one thing to another instead of just working on the same thing all the time.
