Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Just sharing how I make cake pop flowers. I was recently experimenting if this would work making rosebuds, it did. My next adventure was to try other flowers like the peony and the ranuncula. TFL

Thanks Pamela

I got thinking afterwards, and it the pops have icing on them and you set them in the freezer for a bit, they would be much easier to handle.

Hello and thank you Galidink, Pat, June and Debbee. To June, using the pans to bake the cake pops will make a big difference. Make sure you chill them also. This makes a big difference when adding the petals. Best Wishes!

Great job Pamela. I have been using lollipops for the center of some flowerers for awhile now. I just got a cake pop pan for Christmas, but have been so busy, haven't had time to try it. Lollipop centres are hard, so was it difficult with the softness of the cake?

I love them, you're thinking out side of the (candy) box!!! Great idea, very good work!
