Close up CAHM Vday challenge 2010

This is a 8" square and a 8" circle halves attached to the top to make the heart shape. This is a strawberry cake with chocolate frosting. To give a wink and a nod to a chocolate covered strawberry. Today is also the Daytona 500. We have a party every year, so this year I made this cake for our party as sort of a Nascar Valentine. The checkerboard is made out of fondant,the pink and red is butter cream, and so rainbow sprinkles for a little extra color. The numbers are our favorite drivers!! I hope you like my race/valentine's day cake.
