Betty, the brief is 'buttercream or royal icing piping', so yes your cakes qualify.  And of course, you had the drape piping on the tiered cake too.

You ladies flatter me. Maybe I should let "you" give me some ideas on which cakes you like that would be right. Doing this design (squared off) is old hat for me I do it all the time, didn't think it was something special.

Thanks to all 3 of you. I don't know about the contest, I wouldn't know which cake to enter and I see so many others that look so much better than mine.
