This is a Wilton pick, so you could make it with cake on the bottom, but I don't. I use foam and/or rice cereal, because most brides that get a replica of their dress like this want to keep it as a keepsake. So I'd use it as a topper. This one was just for fun to try out a new idea.

Yes. I sprayed the fondant with super pearl then covered every inch of the dress in tulle, extending it for the train. I had to cut the tulle in several areas to get it to form fit and then pipe over those areas to hide them. It was a bit labor intensive, but well worth it for the effect. After I piped the lace I put pixie dust glitter on it so she is sparkling, even though you can't see it in the pic.

VERY PRETTY HOW DID YOU MAKE THEDRESS LIKE THAT ? WITH THE TRAIN SEE THRU ? IS THAT NET WITH ROYAL ICING PIPED ON IT ?
