In total there were 6 tiers, I took it to the venue (around 20kms) in two bits. Ist bit (the heavy one) was up to and inlcuding the petal layer, then the 2nd bit was the top two layers. Base was a 12" square, then a false layer, then 9" round, 2 x 8" round on top of each other, 7" & finally 6" on top. Each cake was around 4.5" high.

I bet you were sweating it. What size are the tiers? Did you take it already stacked and how far?

Yep, all fondant over various cake flavours covered in white choclate ganache. The petals and the leaves were stiffened using fondant/gum trac so they stuck out. I have to tell you I was sweating until I left the venue knowing it was all put together and nothing had fallen off.

Wow, you did a great job on it. Is it all fondant?
