My dad is a biker through and through!
Approximate size is 3 ft. long by 18 inches high (see http://www.cakeswebake.com/photo/harley-cake-full-size?commentId=4635016%3AComment%3A975154&xg_source=msg_com_photo ). The entire body area of the bike (saddle bags, rear and front fender, engine area, headlight section, and tank) are all made of cake and edible. The seat was made of wood to screw into a central dowel for stability and support. The exhaust pipes and forks are PVC covered with fondant and painted with silver airbrush paint, the handlebars were made the same way, but with thinner copper tubing. Front tire is wood, windshield is plastic. The saddlebags are decorated with silver dragees for studs, the logo on the tank was freehand with buttercream, and the engine was painted on the black fondant by hand with edible silver airbrush paint.

I have added the picture of me with the cake to my profile for anyone who would like to look at it. I don't think I can add the second picture here, though, so you will have to look at my pics (there are only a few).

Thanks, Sandra. My whole body was tired after this cake LOL! Art deco, the measurements were approximately 3ft long by about 18" tall. There is a picture in my public cake album on facebook that shows me standing by it. I'm listed under Rebecca Dunlap Glandon. I would post a link to the picture, but I'm not sure how.
