Jeff Dunham's Walter Cake
Walter's face was carved to shape and then covered in a thick layer of fondant. Finally painted with food colouring to hide imperfections and create some shading.

Thanks! A client brought in a picture of a cake like this and asked me to make it. I've never heard of Walter untill I showed a picture to some friends of this cake in the making and all of them recognized the face. So I realized I was the only one who didn't know who Walter is!
