I made one last year, nice and ooey gooey, looked a lot like this one too.  Only mine was square. lol  And it tasted oh so good.  Betty, your tastes run along with my own.  That makes us 2 of the smarter people around!!  I was out of cherries too at the time. lol

Yummmm pineapple upside down cake....my Mom use to make this all the time!! Haven't made one in years.... Missing the cherries tho....hee hee....
