Thanks ladies. My friend just picked up the cake, loved it, going to surprise him at dinner tonight. This is his favorite cake.

Thanks Sandra, Yes German chocolate. I was wishing I would have some of the frosting leftover for me but No I used it all. : ( This I could eat with a spoon.

Betty, your cakes make me want to just fall down face first right in the middle of them and start eating!  This looks delicious!  German Chocolate?  And the piping...................unbelievable!
