Thanks Sandra...I see you've been going thru my pics. Thanks for looking.I wish I had made pictures of ALL my cake in my 40 yrs of doing but I didn't. My kitties name is Sam the other is T K  I have more pics on my website.

Betty, this is such a pretty cake.  The basket weave is gorgeous.  I've only tried it once and it sure didn't look like this!  I will do it again (until I get it right :o) ) because it is such a nice presentation.  Oh, I think your kitty is beautiful, too.  I am a real cat lover.

No Carol. I did all the decorating at home, delivered it as 3 pieces, stacked on site, then added the bottom trim on each tier. I carry my tip & frosting bag with me.

Then added flowers. People/staff  love to see me coming, they are always asking for a taste of frosting. :   : )  :0

Fabulous, did you stack them then pipe the basket weave? and if so how on earth did you transport it to the venue, I'm like Gail, I'd love to be able to pipe but I always end up in a mess, butter cream all over and I can never get the right consistency, I think my hands are too hot :-/

I want to be able to do flowers like you do, your sweet peas were beautiful and your other gum paste and royal flowers are just gorgeous. Butter cream seems to be what I do best.
