I use the standard rice krispy treat recipe. after I get my shape I let it set for a while and harderen up. I do somethimes trim up with a serated knife to sharpen my edges.

Can I ask you about your rice krispy treat recipe? I made a batch of classic treats for my ABC block on my baby shower cake & covered it in fondant, but they seemed too soft. i couldnt get the clean, crisp corners like i really wanted, do you add more cereal, does that help. thanks for the help

I have gotten several at Hobby Lobby and Micheals (craft & hobby stores) I don't know if you have any of these in your area but they often have 40% coupons on their web sites. When I get my hands on one. I buy a new stand or other expensive item. I have ordered online also, I don't remember where. Good luck on your wedding cakes. I am doing one in 2 weeks that has zebra stripes on it. I will post the pic when it is done. Also one tip on making photos of your cakes... I have started making my photos with a black back ground. I hang up a long piece of black fabric, that also covers the table and take my photos there. It really makes the cakes pop.
