I guess we have all had a few. Mine was a name...I forgot to ask how the birthday ladies name was spelled so I spelled it the way another person had spelled it. They were wrong.
should have been Lynda not Linda. Now I ALWAYS ask.

Oh my G....funny. I have to say I was in a real hurry making one of my children's b-day cakes...and I spelled birthday...birtday...no "h". Didn't realize it until I put the candles on the cake...hee hee. Oh well it was just for family. Kids weren't old enough to figure out the mistake!!

I had a good laugh with my daughter's high school graduation cake.  Mind you she was valedictorian  and her cake said Congradulations instead of congratulations.  I didn't take a good look when they handed it to me cause I was in a hurry since I was going to have about 50 people over.  I did let them know later so that they don't misspell it in the future.

I think I saw that one. I  laughed too. I wouldn't accept a cake from a store with such awful spelling like what I've seen on there..

Ha Ha ladies...a cake friend of mine posted a pic of a 1 yr. olds b-day cake from Cake Wrecks on FB. The boys name was piped in bc and was suppose to say Tucker...but they crossed the T with a line in the middle and put a flourish of bc on top of the T. So you can guess what it spelled...OMG...I laughed...can you just imagine the look on the Moms face when she looked at that cake!!!!

Most look like Bakery cakes too. I would fire the person that puts out cakes that look like that.....
