Pink gumpaste peony

So..So   beautiful.   That is my worst virtue when it comes to doing flowers..... I'm so impatient!!  You must take your time..... not easy for a type A like me. You have a gift. G.     :o)

Patience is a virtue - and it's one of the many I don't have either!

Thanks Katy.  It was actually pretty easy.  I made the petals yesterday.  Broke a few cause I tried to put it together before totally dry.  I have to learn to be more patient.  Put together this am.

I just took some of the tips and kind of made it my own.  I googled an image of a peony, chose one and tried to make it as close to the image as possible.  The middle ones I used the cutter that she used but when I thinned it out I shaped it a little.    I didn't have a peony cutter so I used the pasley cutter from 
Wilton and cut the top to look like a peony.  Kind of nice that way so that no two petals look the same.

Thank you Gail & Dee.  @Dee, I have pretty much given up on my flowers.  If it's not the wildlife (deer, rabbits, turkey, etc) then it's the bugs that eat all my flowers.  It's been years since I've seen my tulips since the deer eat them all.  I've tried everything.  Therefore, I make my own flowers.  lol
