Homemade dough board

Purchasing a dough board for rolling out cookies is quite pricey ($70 or more ), so I made my own... This is how I did it for less than $15...

KLC... all I did was purchase the wooden cutting board from IKEA.  Then I purchased 1/4" wooden slats from my local Home Depot store.  My husband glue the strips and then used brass screws to secure them to the board.  Best idea I've ever had!!!  It's awesome for rolling out perfect cookies every time.

That's great!!! Would you mind sharing your instructions on how you made it?
