Bottom tier is butterscotch cake with butterscotch buttercream, top tier shaped in as a number one is vanilla cake with jam & buttercream filling. The whole cake is finished in buttercream with fondant decorations

Kariema, the best way I can explain - made a round black ball for his head then used flesh colour fondant for his face, I did his face by printing off a picture the size I needed cut out his face in 2 parts top/bottom - top part I kept flat - bottom used a small ball a moulded it on the template first then used a round cutter to intent top of his nose/mouth and a smaller circle tool to intend the bottom of his mouth then added the dents for his cheeks - it took a bit of fiddling but once you add the nose black & red in his mouth he takes shape.    Hope this is of some help

Katy, I googled lots different recipes but found one that used muscovado & caster sugar and ordered the flavouring from sugar shack as you said, it smelled ok but didn't get to take the finished cake !! Seen since on Amazon they have flavourings called intense range (might try these out)
