Thanks Rima and Goreti...!!! I appreciate your kind words... I've seen starry night cakes also (and the cup cakes)... but they always seem to leave off the village... the village church, the village church steeple and sometimes even the beautiful rolling hills are gone... I wanted to make sure those (not so small) items were included... Thanks again...

No... not a new area... I did cakes like this since I was nine (or eight, I'll post them sometime)... even won competitions with them... (I did local cake competitions from fourth grade to eighth grade) I started taking cake decorating lessons at Cake Craft here in St. louis when I was in the Third grade... About two years ago I reconnected with my old teacher and even worked for her mothers shop (Sallies) for a few months...
