50th anniversary cake

parents 50th wedding anniversary cake. They wanted it as close as possible to their original and the pictures mom gave me didn't give me that many clear shots, but altogether this was what I came up with and there were a few there from their wedding and said it was pretty close. Also a friend of the family who was a professional cake decorator for years said I did a great job on it and I was so pleased and felt like I had accomplished what I had set out to accomplish and was very happy with it. It was some chocolate and mostly white cake with all buttercream icing. the bells on the cake were molded sugar and the little lilly sprays by the bible were silk flowers, but everything else was edible except of course the support dowels. I did not make the mints.
