It is a two tier square base with 3 square packages(3 flavors , one for each child in the "new" family)placed in front, and I think there were a total of 9 or 10 fondant covered "packages" which were layered 3x6 cakes, I placed the cakes on cardboard, then totally covered the cake and board, then tied each of them with ribbon. Looks complicated, but each piece is very simple. Thank you!

this is the most unique cake!  Even after 30 years, Not sure if I could begin to figure out how in the world you did this but it is great!
