Okay my chin just hit the desk.  This is so stunning.  Just blows my mind that those flowers are buttercream.  Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!

Hi! Yes these are all buttercream covered cakes, and the flowers are also buttercream (italian meringue buttercream).
The flowers (mixed types of ranunculus, scabiosa, small peonies, baby's breath and a few fantasy flowers) were made separately, chilled and then arranged on the also-chilled cake.
This type of cake is all the craze in Malaysia now, and also called 'Korean flowers cake', apparently the style started in Korea recently. :)
