Yes it's a tradition here in Jamaica for the cake to be covered....during the wedding reception there is a slot in the programme called "the unveiling of the cake"...

This cake made me cry...I travelled with it from Manchester Jamaica to Montego Bay...about 3hrs....the fondant cracked and those that weren't cracked decided to slide off the cake...man....I cried...Yes... I can be a big grown up baby....lol
