Well your pretty darn good for only being at it a year!!!!  Funny, I was out shopping and was in a dollar store, and what did I find....of all things..large letter cutters like what you used. As you say, I think meant for play doh as I found them by accident in the childrens section

I have cutters which i think are meant for play dough!  the fondant has to be quite thick, but the middle parts A R i use my tool pin to pick out and then smooth.  I have always struggled with writing but the more I do it is getting a little easier, I haven't been doing this a year yet & there is still so much to learn.  That's why I love this site give you idea's and because you can contact the person who has made a the cake - on hand instruction ;-)
