I made this cake from several round cakes which I craved. Started with a 8 inch pan up to a 4 inch pan - used several of each and cut them in half then placed them on the board and started icing each layer and putting them together until I had the desired shape, then I craved the areas that needed to be removed to shape my bottle. 1/2 is WASC and the other 1/2 is Devil food. The board I used foam which was covered in fancy foil and wrapped with a 2 inch ribbon around the edges. I love to use my funky letters as I feel it makes the cake look so much more elegant. This cake was ordered by a friend as a surprise for her boss. I get an email shortly after I delivered it and was asked that the celebrant wanted the exact thing all over again for her birthday party. But only a few request, make it bigger and add 2 kinds of filling. WOW! Anyway how hard can it be right??? I did it before so I should be able to pull it off again. Adding the filling I know is going to be a task as it will require so much more time to get it right. The world of caking can be so beautiful especially when your work is appreciated.

Thanks ladies, I did make it a second time and I must say I was pleased with the outcome of that one ever more than this one. It looked more like the bottle!
Nice job!
Lovely cake
