Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Two tiers of fondant covered cakes, with fondant accents, a waterfall made of blue-tinted piping gel, and tree made of fondant-covered rice krispies. Princess Zelda and Link characters molded by hand out of a mixture of fondant/gumpaste, and dressed in fondant clothing. This was my first-ever figure cake and the cake I'm most proud of as it was made especially for a child of the wonderful organization Icing Smiles.

I totally understand.  I like feminine things and have two daughters so boys cakes are not my thing either.

Thank you Goreti!  I didn't even know what Legend of Zelda was when I first took my call of duty for Icing Smiles! I have girlie-girls for daughters, and was kicking myself for getting an order for a "boy" cake :)  Boy was it fun putting this together!  And, yes...I know...I still got my pink flowers hidden in there too ;) !!

Thank you both so very much!  I had such a great time making this cake, and even more so delivering it to the recipient!
