yours is perfect , i am amazed when one duz and orchids , they are so beautiful , that and the daisy , i seem to be having bad vibes when i try them ! yours is beautiful , and the color is perfect ! iv seen this color in the garden dept's in a store , and it truly amazing color , you nailed it !another one iv been wanting to do is the slipper orchid !

The center of the orchid is really not as hard as it may seem.  Cut out the center, use a small pair of scissors and cut up the V shaped piece. Using a ball tool pull from the point upwards to make the feet curl up.  Then using the ball tool on what I call the ears of the piece thin it out in a circular motion.  Hang the piece upside down to dry being careful to make sure the little feet don't stand up too far.  This piece is very simple to make, it just looks difficult.

My first orchids.  The 4 layer cake is chocolate with chocolate frosting.  The dirt is Royal icing sprinkled with gelatin which gives a "Moss look".  Topped with chocolate rocks.
