Awww, thanks for the compliment. This coming July will be one year making cakes. I am having so much fun. I just got my first wedding cake order for Aug. :) My mom does most of the baking and I do the decorating.

piping is beautiful.. i tend to work with fondant and gumpaste most. I need to do more piping. I used the Wilton fondant once for a trial to see if it was worth using in a pinch.. sadly it was not. :( I like the homemade MM fondant best. I am now really loving ganache.. i can get it really smooth and it taste sooo good! :)

Ganache is so easy. It's just chocolate (brown or white) and heavy cream. The ratios are different for what type you want to use.. like for a poured/glazed or whipped... they are a bit different.. You can google the recipe... it's super easy. We infuse ours with different teas for extra yumminess. :)
