Hi Diana, I saw your question about a whip cream frosting. I have found this really good product called "BETTERCREAM'. It whips up perfect and tastes good. It is a liquid that comes in either a quart or 1/2 gallon carton. it hold up well unrefrigerated for several hours. Another one I use is RICH's WHIP TOPPING which is a non-dairy whip topping that also comes in aliquid form in a 2 lb can but does need some refrigeration. I buy both these products and keep them frozen until I need them. If you think you would be interested, you can try on line at wwwRich"s.com. They do ship their products. If you have any questions or a problem reaching the company, maybe I can help. Good Luck

Diana, you make the best Pillow cakes, such a nice job. I am going to go look at some videos for pillow cakes and give it a shot...yours as inspired me to try one.
Thanks Diana, I so want to try a pillow cake but all my cake making will have to be put on hold for awhile. Something is happening with my hands and there is no way that I will be able to knead or handle fondant. I am very sad about this for I was loving it, I love the learning process, and believe me I was still learning. I loved reading all the cake sites and learning so much from you all.(so my last fondant cake may be the one I posted as my profile picture)(but I sure hope it is not my last) I might just stick to Buttercream for that is easier on the hand. We will just have to wait and see what is happening to my hands. :0(
No WAY! You're from Rhinelander, Wisonsin?? Crazy! Nobody's from Rhinelander. :) Even I'M not from Rhinelander. LOL We moved here about 6 years ago. It's a nice enough little town. How did you get to Hartford, CT?
That's so funny! I'm glad we're friends on here too, and if I'm ever in Connecticut, I'm definitely stopping by! And the invitation is open to you if you're ever in the Northwoods of Wisconsin!!
Hi Diana, I grew up in Hatillo, I lived in Carrizales, I also went back in 07 until 08 and lived in Aguadilla, that's where I started my baking passion, the only place near hatillo is Arecibo right on he highway there's a place where they have clases and supplies, the only thing that they have a schedule and they go by it, also there's a better one yet in Camuy, it's called Creaciones Jr. I also took classes with him he's the best, he has two places one in camuy the other in Isabela, I'm back in Jersey but i go once a year to keep up with their classes, let m know what you did, ENJOY UR TRIP AND GOD BLESS
