I really like them. There is always something new to learn. The new flowers that they have are interesting and easy to make. I honestly wish there was a culinary school in the area because I would definitely invest into learning new techniques as I am pretty much self taught except what I have learned from the wilton classes.

I wish there was a school also. I'm afraid my plans on making a business out of this will no longer be an option, but I would love to make them for friends and family once in a while. I love the challenges and creation we can make.

My head is spinning trying to decide on my son's 1st birthday cake design. I know I want a cupcake tower and that is all confirmed but I want to add a cake and I just can't decide. The theme is Toy Story, since his Godmother wants to dress him up as Woody. Now, if I could only decide what the main cake will look like. Right now, I'm at work with terrible hand and wrist pain, typing and trying to draw cake designs between calls. I hope the pain goes away soon so I can start preparing the cake. I still have over a month to prepare, but between work and family, I have to get a head start.

Hello everyone. My name is Rica. I live in Bradenton and have been trying to get a business off the ground. I'm renting space out of a deli in St. Armand's Circle. Is anyone a member of FL ICES? I joined and have gone to the Day of Sharing in Ocala and the Mini-Classes they hosted in January. It's fun to get connected. I love cake decorating and meeting people who love it just as much as me!

Hello, I just wanted to put in a quick note. Now that the Chocolate Forest is gone there are no cake decorating supply stores in the area. My wife Heidi runs an online store A & H Cake Design, she does not have a storefront but will take order and meet customers at Belltower. She has over 3,000 items online & in-stock and she is adding more every week. All of the items are mid to high level quality.

Hi Wendy, She also is willing to take local sales as cash sales so you do not have to use your credit card if you do not want to. Just make a cart of your order & send it in. It will get pulled and we will figure out a time to meet. She is also good at special orders, if you are looking for something that she does not carry, ask & if it can be found she will get it.

Take a look at the Poly-Dowels http://www.ahcakedesign.com/cakesupports.html they are very cool & so much easier than wooden ones but so much stronger than straws.
