Hello, my Name is Heidi Molnar and I am not a decorator, that is my husband's job. He is a Pastry Chef & Cake Designer who has worked with and been trained by some of the best Pastry Chef's & Cake Decorators there are. The pictures on my profile are of our Wedding Cake and me with the bouquet of gumpaste flowers I walked down the aisle with when we got married.

Since the Chocolate Forest in Cape Coral has closed there is no place to get many supplies locally. I own A & H Cake Design www.ahcakedesign.com which is right in Ft. Myers. We are an online company so we do not have a storefront that you can come to, but we will take your orders & meet you locally so that you do not have to pay shipping.

Well, Father's Day is coming up. I have 2 cakes in mind. The first for my husband at his request a wine bottle cake and 2nd for my son's Godfather a beer mug cake. Let's see how they turn out, if I get the chance to make them. sigh

Oh my Gawd! I spent over 6 hours yesterday working on Father's Day cakes! I was able to go to work for a training session (1 hour), finish some shopping for cake supplies, make lunch, dinner and clean up most of the mess. By 8:30 PM I had finished my hubby's cake and almost finish the second. Hubby was very happy with his cake and I caught him taking pictures of me placing the finishing touches. Being both first time cakes I went through much trial and error. That trash can was full of ruined cake and fondant, but I'm pretty proud of myself. At least now I know what not to do. All a learning experience.

Thanks Pa, for helping me clean up at the end!

Where are all my SW Florida decorator buddies. I haven't heard from anyone in a while? Has anyone created any cakes these past few weeks?

Hello everyone. How is everyone doing? Sorry, I haven't been writing lately just been busy. I have done a few cakes that I still have to get posted here. I am taking all of the new Wilton updated courses and having fun with that.
