Hello, my name is Michele and I live in Cape Coral and I have been baking since I was 8 years old. Started ckae decorating since my daughter's wedding cake and I have been doing cakes of all kind since then.

Welcome Sandra. I'm new to this but it, like everything, the cake decorating world is also constantly changing. There is always something new to learn. Good to have others to learn and face interesting cake decorating challenges with.

Hi Ladies,
Welcome to everyone. I am a Wilton teacher and do cakes for my side business. i am very busy and won't be able to participate as much as I would like to, but am so glad Wendy has gotten this going. I think it will be so cool for everyone to compare notes and I can't wait to see pictures of your cakes.
If I can help anyone, please feel free to ask. Not that I am an expert, but I will do my best.
Another reason I am glad this is going is because I will be relocating to SC in May/June and will still be able to keep in contact with my "Girls" this way. Very cool.

Hi ladies! I'm MaryAnn Douglas. Cake decoratig is a hobby for me, but I wouldn't be opposed to making cakes for extra income.
I live 7 months in Ft. Myers, FL and 5 months in the Adirondack Mountains in Northern NY State (about 2 hours from Montreal, Quebec & 1 hour from Burlington, VT)
I've taken 4 Wilton classes. Terri Johnson has been my instructor for the last two. The thought of Terri moving to SC is enough to make me want to throw myself off my desk chair! Best wishes to you Terri.

Please don't do anything rash. You will be fine. You are very talented and I am expecting great things from you. Maybe you can stop by and see me on your way up or down, next year. See you in class for your GRADUATION!!! I am also expecting to see pictures of your cakes on here :)

Ok ladies, I tried making the marshmallow fondant. I guess I was able to make it, but my oh my is it messy! I had marshmallow goo all over the place lol. Looked great and I'm let it rest over night to cover my cakes this afternoon when I get home.
