Hi Francis, when CMC or Tylose is added to fondant you get MODELLING PASTE not gum paste. Modelling paste is used for modelling animals and other items. Gum paste or flower paste is used for making flowers.

Hi Francis, is the colour any one of these? You could try burnt orange and maybe lighten or darken as you need?

Hi hope everyone is in good health and still enjoy baking and decorarating.I need to know if i can use choclate mousse with buttercream.Please help me on this one.

I also use just beaten up ganache as a mousse - holds beautifully

Hi all!

Thanks for guiding me in the right direction re gumpaste etc. also found a recipe in the meantime, but haven't had time yet to try it. Will keep you posted.
