Penguin Cake .pdf
penguin_pieces.JPG

i used this to help me make me penguin cake for a winter potluck at work.
i found it on google, a lady was nice enough to post it up for others, its really detailed.

i ran out of space so my pond wasnt big enough and couldnt make the trees, and ran out of time and didnt get to make any fish for the pond LOL
it did have pearl dust all over though (cant see it in the picture) so the whole cake sparkled.
I plan on re doing it another time to add more details =-)
but its a  really cute cake !

I love this cake! Its so cute! Thanks for sharing Colleen
i agree .... my delima is moving from Tucson, Az where i grew up and knew a ton of people, especially through my parents friends ... to Cleveland ... where now i know absolutely no one LOL

i havnt been making many cakes for that reason. so i just decided that if i have an idea and feel like making one, im going to =-D

i think my boyfriend might get sick of eating cake pretty fast though LOL
back in Tucson i had alot of people i could make cakes for, or just give to for fun.

so i just decided id rather stuff him full of cake or have to throw some away instead of not decorating at all =-)

thanks, and good luck on your cake, i cant wait to see it !
Wow! Congrats on that igloo, great job!
Here is my thought on your cake dilemma, Make a cake when you want to and then if you are too caked out just give it away. I work at an office that just loves it when our patients bring us cakes, cookies, etc. Your auto repair shop, the trash man, the person who cuts your hair etc, etc. I know there aare lots of places in Cleveland. Anyway, that is just my thought for what it is worth! your work is tooo good to keep to yourself!
hey thank you !!! =-)
great idea =-D

So can we get the details?  I would love to make this cake for my granddaughter's 7th birthday party at the end of march!  Ann
Making cakes could also be a good way to get to know your new neighbors.  Sort of flip the old housewarming tradition.  Best of luck in your new place.

That is adorable.   I know a penguin fan who would love this cake.
