Just looking for a quick easy mocha filling. It is a special request from the bride and believe it or not haven't been asked for that flavor until now. Any suggestions?

Hey All!
I opened my shop about 2 1/2 years ago. We are definitely struggling in this economy, but I love my job and I will definitely fight to keep it open. Nice to meet you all!

Hi everyone, I love this site and spend far too long in here, I have a vespar and a harley davidson to make in sugarpaste today!!!!!!.I'm a passionate baker and decorator and live on an Island off the uk. I've been doing this for 29 years, taught for 6 years but only in the last 3 years run my own business from home. A year ago I'd say it was really a part time job except for the 4 wedding months of the year, but my daughter put me on face book a year ago and ohhhhhhh my goodness the phone dosen't stop ringing, it's a full time job now.!!!!!!
I love my job, my only downfall is that I eat too much cake!!!!!!

Hi folks, I really wish I had more time to look at this site, I'm clearly missing a lot! I am an instructor and love it! I used to do lots of cakes but I started an online business selling my cake decorations and I find this to be more lucrative now so if I can be of any help to start you on this path I'm happy to give any help and advice! I have done my own websites to keep costs down so why not visit and get in touch with me if I can assist in any way.

Hi all! I'm interested in becoming a professional cake decorator & baker. I finished culinary school and I'm taking more classes on cake decorating to develop my skills further. Any advice on how to get started? The cakes here are so amazing & beautiful I hope to become as skilled as the artists here!!

Hi Stacy, This time last year my business was very much a part time job and some weeks no cakes at all!!!!! I did't have money to advatise so Jan last year I put my business on face book, well by June the phone didn't stop ringing. and now I have a full time job. it is well worth doing as it is free.
Good luck with your new venture

I have a full time job, am a single mom of two awesome teen-agers, take cake decorating classes and am baking cakes, cookies, even gluten, wheat and dairy free cakes. I enjoy the baking very much and wish I can do it full time. For now, my full time job takes care of all the bills and offers excellent benefits and with two teens, it's very secure.
Jane ~ I just checked out your site and I love your cakes. I will keep visiting it as often as possible.

Hi All, I have a part time job ,2 teenage kids and I am a instructer and love doing cakes .. I do pretty good just getting orders from where I work and off my facebook and of course family and friends.. I do anything from cupcakes up to wedding cakes. I would love to take it to the next level as to owning my own shop .I have several orders already for april and some for later in the year.

Hi everyone, I am a mom of 4, and I started my cake business (as a business) about 4 years ago. Recently (w/in the past 2 yrs) have gotten licensed and opened a Studio for my consultations, I am a home baker. I do just about everything. I tell everyone, I'll try anything at least once. I love decorating and designing cakes and who would have thought, it all started when my oldest daughter wanted a big bird birthday cake for her first birthday 21 years ago! :) I like it here on this site, and hope that I can learn much more from everyone.
