I can't say I've made a geeky cake, but I definitely am a geek.

You should try it sometime...it's very therapeutic. :D

I'm a geek cake admirer, rather than a geek cake baker :).
If we see cool geek cakes in other places could we post links here, or should we only post our own personal cakes?

If it makes you geeky-happy, share it. It's all good. :D

One of my first cakes; for a friends' son's 6th birthday. He loves Super Mario Galaxy. :)

That's awesome!

And it reminds me, I need to find some computer time to put up pics of the Mario characters I made for a friend's twins (well one had Mario and the other had ocean creatures) a couple of weeks ago. Did you see CakeWrecks just had another Mario themed Sunday Sweets?

OK I have yet to make a geeky cake but I do love my fantasy and science fiction. I also do a lot of anime / manga style drawing and sketches and am hoping (when i've learned to work with plastic icing and runouts) to use some of my drawings on the cakes just for the fun of it. I've watched some of the online videos with the air brush but that would take a lot of skill especially when you are used to using pencils! I can't wait to see all the goodies posted here...

Welcome Lee-Ann! I look forward to seeing your just-for-fun experiments! It's the best way to do cake. Worst case scenario: the art doesn't work but you get to eat CAKE. :D
