Hello, I am at Sarasota, Florida. I have been decorating cakes for the last 5 years. I only bake for myself and friends. Would love to be able to do more cake decorating, but as you all know we can't bake from home commercially. And getting supplies isn't easy.

Jane have you tried Michael's craft stores?:There is one in Ocala. Go to www.michaels.com and at the top of the search box you can look for the stores near you. They carry Wilton products. And you can try www.fondantsource.com they are in Kissimmee. They have great prices and their shipping is reasonable. I hope that helps

Hi everyone, I am Sherrie and I live in Ocala. I have been doing cakes for about 30 years, but am still learning new things all the time. I am just now learning how to use fondant and gumpaste, and I love it.

Hi Florida Cakesters...I'm in Palm Bay/Melbourne. Took the Wilton courses about 2 yrs ago and have been "playing" ever since. A couple of us here are starting a little club and hope to expand in the fall which will help us continue to share and learn. As for supplies, we too only have Michaels and JoAnn's but there is D&G Occasions in Orlando that is a great source of supplies.They also have an online store as well. Looking forward to see who else joins this group. Nice to meet you all!

Hello everyone, I'm in Miami/Hollywood FL. I took Wilton courses as well sometime ago . I wish there was a cake decorating club down here I can join but so far I have not found one...I love this web page and so nice to meet other cake decorator like me. It is so nice to meet all of you decorator hope to be hearing from you soon.

Here is a list of cake clubs in FL sponsored by ICES...you dont have to join ICES to be members but there are dues for the clubs..each is different...call the local contact.. I joined the one in Daytona.... alot of nice people and made some new friends!

I'm in DeLand and finished the 3 Wilton classes at Michaels with my sister, niece and her friend. We get together once a week and work on projects together. It has been alot of fun and we are always learning something new.
