I will have a camera!!! Maybe we can arrange to sit together at lunch. Lisa Menz (cakes by Lisa) from Ocala is a presenter at this show. I met her Tuesday night at a Chamber Business Expo. She is bring a Florida ICED Cake Competition to Ocala next March 27, 2011, We should all get to meet her.

Other than Michelle & Sidney who is bringing something to display? I don't think I have the skills yet to put anything on display!! LOL!!!

Everyone should bring something to display! At the last DOS in Ft. Lauderdale there were displays from every skill level and everyone encouraged the beginners. It was great fun! Please don't be intimidated!

OK, if everyone has time put something together. I know I have a few royal icing flowers and some fondant roses in an egg crate, maybe I can't put them on a cake board and make them look pretty. Who's with me?!?!?

Pat, sorry I missed you in Chat but yes, the paperwork says 6" cake board or larger. I'm thinking about 6"!!!

Maureen, it was so great to meet up with some of the Florida Cakester girls. What a nice event....so many fun, creative and generous artists were in that room. Hope the "Ocala Ladies" had a great time and a safe drive home! Hope to see you all at other events.

Sidney and I agree with Rosann, it was great to meet you and put a face with your name! It was a fun day and Sidney was touched by all your kind words and support. We can't wait to see you again. If anyone feels like dropping in to the Brevard Cake Club our next meeting is 10/10/10. Just let us know you are coming and we'll save you a seat! Otherwise, we hope to see you at the next DOS in January.
