Welcome. I'm not sure I understand your question. Your cake has rough texture, or your icing has rough texture? by rough, do you mean it's not smooth?

Hi all, just saying hello. I've not been able to bake for a long time - had a scary gas leak back in January and not wanted to deal w/the gas stove in my apartment since. I'm glad everyone's keeping the group going in my absence and I hope soon to be back to baking and decorating! :)

Golly, has it really been 3 years since anyone posted here? :O 

I did manage to acquire a Wilton Multi-Coupler but have yet to put it through its paces.

I notice Wilton keeps changing its classes format - they had it down from 4 classes to 3, then back up to 4; now I see they have come out with a new set of books.
